I have 2 videos on my site, one in the header and one in the body of the homepage. I’ve been able to get the one in the header to autoplay on mobile, but the one in the body won’t. Do you have any suggestions for why it isn’t playing?

The wave video in the header plays on mobile, but the bird video in the middle of the body on the homepage is not. Both videos play on desktop and in the mobile emulation, but on an actual iOS device the bird video isn’t playing.

I can see some videos and/or image moving/playing. I’m not exactly sure if it’s the same thing you see on your end.
Can you point us to the part of the site in question? Let us know.
Are you on a mobile device? They play for me in mobile emulation on a desktop browser fine, but on my phone they do not.
The page seems to have been changed.
I don’t see the video anymore on the site. Can you put it back on for us to check?

Hi there,
the video elements ( birds flying ) don’t have the
playsinlineattribute applied to them. If i add that to them using the developers tools then the videos play.That was it! Thank you so much David.

It’s auto-playing on my end on mobile. I also tested it on my personal phone to be sure, and it’s auto-playing there as well.
What mobile device are you using? Can you try on a different mobile device to test?
I tried on my Iphone XR and friend’s Iphone 13, all of them did not auto play.
And when i tried with safari brownser it still had play button.

it also autoplays on my iPhone across all browsers.
Can you make sure your phone is not in power saving mode, and that you have cleared the browser caches.
