    Hello,

I cannot seem to figure out my breadcrumb issue. I recently created a new archive page and it is set to an instances of categories @12 and another archive page with an instance of categories #7 I did this to create a custom categories page so I can make it look the way I like.

Is there something I need to change in order for my post to show the correct breadcrumb? So all of my post are still using the original category it was assigned to. However, I moved those to the new category I created.

I use Yoast and have a hook setup that was working fine. But once I created this archive pages it is not reading the new category from my post page.

    Here is an example: https://mobilitymedicalsupply.com/best-reclining-manual-wheelchairs

Home > wheelchairs > Best Reclining Manual wheelchairs

Wheelchairs in the breadcrumb no longer exist.

    It should point here: https://mobilitymedicalsupply.com/category/mobility-aids/

Not sure what i need to do in the hook to fix this?

    Thanks for the help

    Hi Anthony,

You might need to check with Yoast’s support team on this.

The theme itself cannot control the breadcrumbs structure outputted by Yoast.

GP’s hook simply inserts the breadcrumb from Yoast for you.

Hope they will be able to help you out.
