Hi there!
I’m using GP Premium and GenerateBlocks to build my site (iwfa.fit). I’m having an issue getting the logo to appear left of the navigation. On the home page, I can’t get the logo to appear at all. On other pages, the logo is under the navigation items.
The logo size is 350×70. My guess is that I’m missing CSS code somewhere, but I don’t know what that is. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
HeatherJanuary 28, 2021 at 5:33 pm #1637633ElvinStaffCustomer SupportHi,
I’ve checked the site and it doesn’t seem to be a CSS issue as there’s no site-logo element rendering within its page source.
Can you check if confirm if there’s a logo added to the site? You can check it on Appearance > Customize > Site Identity.
If there’s a logo uploaded and assigned, does the site have a history of using
generate_logo_output
filter? Let us know.January 28, 2021 at 6:03 pm #1637640HeatherThanks for the response, Elvin. I did confirm that the logo is uploaded and assigned. I’m 90% sure there isn’t a history of using the generate_logo_output filter. I haven’t used it, nor would I know where or how to add it.
Thanks again!
January 29, 2021 at 2:08 am #1637867DavidStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
in Customizer > Layout > Header – do you have the Navigation as Header option enabled ?
If so can you temporarily disable, this should display the site header above the navigation. Does the logo appear in the site header ?January 29, 2021 at 6:48 am #1638137HeatherHi David,
I don’t have it enabled. Not sure if you read my first post, but the logo appears on other pages on the site (not to the left of navigation). It doesn’t appear at all on the home page.
Thanks so much for your response.
January 29, 2021 at 10:30 am #1638654LeoStaffCustomer SupportI believe the issue here is that the header is removed on the home page only.
Did you happen to remove it using the disable element metabox?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/disable-elements-overview/January 29, 2021 at 11:27 am #1638726HeatherHi Leo,
Thanks for the response. I didn’t disable the Header, but I did disable the title so “Home” doesn’t appear on the home page.
I did try something to make sure I wasn’t going crazy. I did turn on Sticky Navigation and when I scroll down, the navigation is aligned exactly as I want it. How do I make that happen for a static navigation menu?
Thanks!
January 29, 2021 at 4:59 pm #1638897LeoStaffCustomer SupportCan you try activating this option in the customizer?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-as-a-header/January 29, 2021 at 5:06 pm #1638905HeatherOK, now we’re getting somewhere. The question that I have is how do I get the to appear above the site header element on the home page? It looks fine on the other pages.
January 29, 2021 at 5:10 pm #1638909LeoStaffCustomer SupportHow are you adding this section on the home page?

The header on your home page is built with a Block element?
If so, could you confirm that you are usinggenerate_after_header
as hook? Here’s a visual hook guide for your reference.
