Sam
Hello,
I’ve recently changed themes to GeneratePress and, since changing, my Amazon Native Shopping Ads aren’t showing up on https://AceDogBlog.com.
I’ve tried disabling caching plug-ins and anything else that may affect it, but it appears to be something to do with the theme itself.
Please can you have a look into this for me?
Thanks,

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
How are you adding the ad?
May 21, 2020 at 9:48 am #1295691Sam
Hi Leo,
Two ways:
– I’m embedding it via the WordPress visual editor HTML inserter. An example is at the bottom of https://acedogblog.com/dogs-that-are-30-pounds/
– I also have a couple of other Amazon Native Shopping Ads on different pages created using the Elementor HTML inserter. An example is under the ‘here’s what you’ll need’ heading of https://acedogblog.com/how-to-cut-a-dogs-nails/ (P.s. Dreadful blog, I know. I’m currently going through manually editing all old blogs by our previous content writer)Neither of these approaches are working with GeneratePress but do work with other themes.
Hope this helps!
– Sam

StaffCustomer SupportGP really has no way to stop some HTML content showing if it’s working correctly.
Are you referring to these ads?

Yes, those are the ads I’m trying to display! That’s so odd – I’ve cleared the cache and tried on multiple browsers & multiple devices and the ads aren’t showing up for me.

StaffCustomer SupportI checked with both Chrome and Firefox and seeing the ads no problem.
Didn’t have to disable ad block either.

I’m glad to hear that! Must be an issue on my end then. Thanks for your help 🙂

I’m having the same issue. Sometimes they show up, sometimes they don’t. Strange. I was reading a forum post from 2018 that says this has something to do with AMP?

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
the Theme has no control or impact on how an advert is displayed or not displayed.
If you think its an AMP issue then try disabling AMP or check with their plugin support to see if they have any insight to running Amz ads on AMP. -
