Check the disable element metabox: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/disable-elements-overview/ https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/#disable-element I think you will find it beneficial if you temprarily disable all the elements (Appearance > Elements) by setting the status to draft.
