YouTube Video Sizing

I'm having trouble with the video sizing on one of my blog posts.
It's the first time I've used the YouTube embed feature on WP.
There are two problems:
1) The video thumbnail is not contained within the video player window
2) The video appears as a letterbox due to the excessive height of the video
I'm not sure if this is a GeneratePress issue or a WordPress issue, so apologies if this is the wrong place to post.

GP doesn't have any control on WP blocks.
Seems the video block is missing some style, try to clear cache and disable your caching plugin and see if that works.

Yes, I think I might have culled some styles when trimming down my CSS.
