Wp show posts not displaying correctly

Hello, I am trying to figure out that the wp show posts plug-in is not working correctly. I set the right settings for it and hit update, but every time I enter the shortcode to the desired page, it's still not showing what I want it to show. Any chance I have some setting wrong or anything? Thanks,
