WP Show Posts Error

Hiya,
I am not able to display posts based on a specific category taxonomy while using WP show posts' Simple element.
The plugin defaults to an empty row each time I add a specific category to display posts on my site's homepage. Hence, I have to resort to the default setting of displaying posts from all categories. Also, I am not able to shuffle the order of different WP posts elements on the homepage. Doing so results in bad UX.
P.S: I am not using pagination and the post number(s) is sufficient enough.
Can you please help me out?
Hi there,
I'm not exactly sure I see what you mean.
Can share any screen capture of what's happening?
I see 3 lists after the WPSP Grid on the hero which are: unlabeled, BITCOIN and DeFI.
Were you trying more shortcodes other than these 3? Did you get any errors within the UI?
Also, have you tried adding more lists with ALL plugins disabled to check if it's a plugin conflict issue?
Let us know.
Apologies, I should've explained more lucidly. I've added the details in the private information section.
Hi there,
do you have any options set in the More Settings ?
If not then - do you have any page caching via a plugin or the server as that may require clearing.
I've not quite touched that section, but yeah by default 'offset' is set to 4.
I am using a caching plugin but there are no page caching rules set as of now.
P.S: This problem persisted way before I installed a caching plugin.
Hi there,
Can you show us how many posts are under the category DeFI?
If the category only had 6 posts and the offset is set to 4, it makes sense why only 2 posts are displayed because there's not enough posts to display due to the offset.
Got it sorted now, thank you!
Nice one. Glad you got it sorted. :D
