WP Show Posts by Date Range

I was wondering if it is somehow possible to use WPSP to display the most recent posts, by selecting a date range rather than a category or tag, etc.

Hi there,
you can simply leave it without any taxonomies selected and it will display the Latest X number of posts by default.
