I’m planning to buy WP Show Post pro.
Considering the imminent release of Generateblocks pro, I’m wondering : am I likely to find some WP Show Post pro features in Generatblocks pro ?

I’m not asking you guys to disclose your product strategy beforehand, but maybe just if it is worth waiting a few days before I make my choice ? 🙂
This brings another question, are still talking “days” regarding Generateblock pro release ?

No – GB focuses on layout options like container, grid etc and won’t have option to insert posts.

WHat I’m not sure to get when you mean “insert posts” is whether GB pro will make it possible to style posts as WP Show Post pro was doing.
I’m thinking cards, or title and excerpts partially over image, or again image hover.

There will be some templates and hover effects in GP pro.

However, you’d need to add in excerpt or any post related things manually.

When will WP Show Posts Pro be updated? The last update was a long time ago. WP Show Posts Pro 1.0 was released January 16, 2019 and it is still in the beta testing stage.

There is no planned update for Show Post pro at the moment as we are focusing on GeneratePress 3.0 and GenerateBlocks pro which is more popular demand.

Please try to refrain from jumping into other people’s topics like this.

I’ll patiently wait for Generatepress 3.0 and Generateblocks pro releases to assess whether they’re enough to answer my needs (along with the free version of WP Show post).
