Hi,

Is there any known incompatibility with WP-Rocket and GP Theme's Menu?
What I notice is that the Sub Menus are not operable and the search stops working in with cache.

Can you please let me know what I should be doing to ensure the site's navigation doesn't break?\

My site - https://www.thisisbarry.com/

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

its not an incompatibility - you just need to carefully configure WP Rocket or stuff might break on any site using any theme. Problem is, one site is different to another, and therefore the configs may need to differ. Which means i could give you 5 reasons why it may happen and what to try and none may work.

Best people to ask is WP Rocket, they are very familiar with GP.

If they can't assist, let us know and ill dig up some other solutions users have tried.

I understand. I'm using the GP Navigation out of the box without any custom changes.

Looks like some CSS needs to be excluded from the Navigation on WP-Rocket. I'd be grateful if you can point me to the CSS that correspond to:
1) The SubMenu Click
2) The Search Click.

I'll check with Wp-Rocket in the meanwhile.

You can try excluding any of the GP / GPP files using these strings:

/wp-content/plugins/gp-premium/(.*)(
/wp-content/themes/generatepress/(.*)(

Hi,

I did an update on the GP Theme, that seemed to fix the problem.
Thanks for your input.

It sounds like WP Rocket cache got a little messed up :) When updates are made there generally enough to bust a cache.

Glad to hear its working!!
