WP Posts Latest Articles - Where Is The Reference?

Hello,

I am currently using the Avery Theme from the Site Library. On the home page right below the MailChimp subscription field there is the "My Latest Articles".

When I go to edit the page it says "[wp_show_posts id="1253"]". Where is the setting that allows the latest posts to be visible? There is no list under WP Posts that references it? Can someone please point me in the correct direction.

Any help is appreciated.

You should find a WP Show Post list named Latest 3 Post as shown here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/8Luk02ed

If you didn't find it on the list, It's possible the it was moved to trash as shown here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/rRukOpRo

If it is, simply restore it and edit it's "More settings" tab's order and orderby setting.

You nailed it. It was in the Posts trash. Can't believe it was running from there. Was driving me nuts.

I restored it but what did you mean when you said ""it’s “More settings” tab’s order and orderby setting."" and what goes in there?

That's where you change how the post list is sorted. But you can pass on it if it's already set to your preferred sorting order.
