Would like to swap the next and prev page link font icons to another one

Hi!

I can see that the prev and next page links are using psuedo elements with font awesome. I've tried adding css in the customizer pulling in another icon and I'm getting the empty square.

Is it possible to sway the \fxxx for another one? Or do I have to manually add my font awesome?
