    Hi Tom, I have just installed wordsmith them on my site Sarkari Naukri, how can I reduce the sidebar search box height (i want it to be a little shorter) Little narrow because it’s too big in size.
    Plz, help regarding this.

    Hi there,

    there is already some CSS from the Site customisation that is being applied to all of the INPUT fields. So to make that work, you need to give it some importance:

    input[type="search"] {
        padding: 10px !important;
    }

    Thanks it worked. but i have one more question, can i change the word Search…(inside the search box) to my custom word.

    Use this code:

    add_filter( 'generate_search_placeholder', 'search_field_custom' );
    function search_field_custom()
    {
        return 'Replace this to your custom words';
    }

    Adding PHP in child theme
