Wordpress with GeneratePress doesn't automatically hyperlink URLs in text

HI, I am finding that URLs as text in my articles don't automatically convert to hyperlinks. Is there a setting in either Wordpress or GP to enable that?

GP doesn't interfere with that, its a WP function that deals with that kind of thing.
can i see an example of the issue ?
Thats the core List Block, it doesn't auto link them, which is pain.
Simplest solution is to paste your links in as text blocks, select them all and convert it to a list:
