Hello:
I have been noticing an issue when some of the page elements would appear to the left edge of the screen and not the centre. This is happening inside the wordpress editor and not the live page. This is at least happening to the Grid module.
I was frustrated with not being able to preview what I’m building correctly, so I have started a clean install on a subdomain. To my surprise, this issue is still happening. I have tried to turn off all the plugins, clear cache, have it set to another theme, but this issue is always there. I even used different computers and browsers as well.
You can see the screenshots here to compare the live version vs what is visible in the wordpress editor:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/iiBuK5KB4LBcaHC76This is already a clean install with barebone plugins, just gp, gp-premium and gp theme. I have 2 other plugins but this issue is there even when they are inactive.
Could you please let me know how I can fix this?

I’ve logged into your site, but you are in the editor so I can’t access it, can I take over?
Let me know!

Hello, thanks for looking into this.
I don’t have anyone logged in using that admin account and no one is accessing that post. You should be able to get in. Please let me know if you are still experiencing problems.

StaffCustomer SupportI can access the post editor now 🙂
The cause of the issue is:
1. you have a layout element that sets the post’s container width to 800px, so the editor width is actually right.
2. you have set the GB containers to full width which is a WP option, it doesn’t work well with the layout element.
If you want to have full-width post and fix the editor issue, try the below steps:
1. Exclude the post or posts that you wish to have full width from the layout element (Narrow single post).
2. Create another layout element, set the content container width to full width and assign it to the posts you wish to have full width.
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/#content-13. Disable the full-width alignment option for the GB containers in the editor, they are full-width by default.
