    Hello everybody,

After some updates (WordPress and GeneratePress), my block editor is appearing very narrow. A few weeks ago when editing I had more width, similar to the real size of the website. Working with so little space is very annoying, and as you can see there is plenty of blank space.

What’s has changed and how can I fix this width in the block editor?

I appreciate your comments, here you can have a look at my block editor screenshot: https://snipboard.io/zxJIfA.jpg

    Regards,
    Tony

Here, you can see how difficult is to work with elements in that narrow width 🤯

    Hi there,

that’s peculiar – can you test for plugin conflicts by temporarily disabling other plugins to see if one of them is conflicting ?

Other question are you using the Gutenberg plugin ?

    Hi David,

Thanks for your quick answer. The second test was the first thing I’ve tried, after refresh nothing happens and editor width keeps that narrow layout.

And regarding disabling plugins, this is a production site, therefore I only have GP, GenerateBlocks, and of course Gutenberg. Anyway, after trying to disable GP and GenerateBlocks, the problem persists. I think it is due to the last Gutenberg update, some weeks ago was working so nice, full-width editor and plenty of space to design…

If you have the Gutenberg plugin installed then See my reply here to another user:

Wow! I thought the Gutenberg plugin was necessary. Deactivated and deleted! Now I have my editor full-width again!

    Thanks for your help!
