    Hello,

Not sure if this is a Generatepress issue or a WordPress issue, but we run a very light load of plug ins.

When we add some images , image dimensions are being amended to the end of the URL. When this happens, the image doesn’t show up because it does not match the URL.

Example: Here is the second half of the URL we loaded
    /wp-content/uploads/2022/01/image-Home-Page-Sceenshot.jpg

Here is what it is getting changed to:
    /wp-content/uploads/2022/01/image-Home-Page-Sceenshot-1024×909.jpg

It’s the strangest thing and I have no idea what’s causing it. It’s also not on every image and randomly happens on images that have been live for a while.

    Thanks

Update: We also have images that are not adding this that the image is suddenly not showing up. It’s happening on posts that have been up for years.

    Hi Jason,

GeneratePress shouldn’t be causing this. WordPress controls images. Also, it could be possible that a plugin may be causing this.

Have you tried #1 here?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/

If that doesn’t work, I found this article with regards to images not appearing suddenly: https://muffingroup.com/blog/wordpress-images-not-displaying/

With regards to the file name, what version of WordPress are you using? Can you try raising a topic in WordPress directly as well for further insights?: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
