Wordpress 5.7 conflict

I have premium on two 5.7 site and it seems to run fine. So does not seem to be general issue. This said, my major sites need to wait with the update.

someone else also had issue of home page due to 5.7..

are you using the Hook Element ? And if so do any of them contain any custom functions ?

I Have one hook which is used to put a php code for ad.. <?php the_ad(117892); ?>.. That's it.. But this has been there for long and till 5.7 there was no issue..

Does removing that hook fix the issue?

Nope.. The hook is not the problem.. If GP is the active theme and I update to WP 5.7, it crashes.. Then i have to do a back up restore.. I tried this many times since 10th and finally identified the problem seems to be with the theme conflicting with WP 5.7 update.. I restored back up at least 5 times.. So now I have left WP at 5.62 which is working fine, but at some stage i have to update to 5.7 because there are some important updates..

Problem is - i cannot replicate the issue - i have updated a dozen sites to WP 5.7 and not had any issues so far.

It would be good to see what error logs are being reported on the server - so we can help pin down what the issue is.

What would you need from me to have a look..?? Can we take this offline..?? Because it is definitely the theme.. That I am sure of..

Sorry what is the issue you are experiencing exactly?

And do you think the issue is with the free theme or GP Premium plugin?

If it's the plugin, are you able to determine the problematic module by deactivating them one by one?

Hmm it's strange that we haven't had any other reports on this.

So the issue happens with all plugins disabled?

Can you check what error logs are being reported on the server – so we can help pin down what the issue is?

Hi David/Tom, right now the site is down again.. I cleaned up all plugins, cache, updated all plugins and installed WP5.7 and its broken now.. Pls help..

Can you provide us with a temporary Admin login so we can take a look?
