Wordfence Vulnerability

Hi Guys,

When i had run the Wordfence scan on my site, I got below high Vulnerability for Wordpress code.

Please let me know if this file is an intruder or legit ?

Hi Jatin,

As the error stated, the file is in the WordPress core folder so it's not a GP/theme thing.

I do see the same file in a default install but without the .orig.

I would recommend checking with the WordPress support team.

I wouldn't recommend deleting the file from WordPress's core folders.

You could try re-installing WordPress to see if the file name changes.

Have you tried checking with WordPress' support team to see if they have any opinions on this?
