Woocommerce variable product dropdown

Hello,
We are just setting up our sailing school courses for next year and are trying to do it with variable products on WC. There is a big -or- next to the 'Add to Basket' button and box with the product variations is cut off at the end.

Any help getting this looking cleaner would be much appreciated.
It may be something in elementor, but thought I'd start here. I've already asked WC and they say they can't suggest anything.

We've tried to do this but it doesn't seem work. Maybe we are putting it in the wrong place? We've put it into the style.css of our child theme.

I'm not sure if it's the same issue.
Have you tried disabling Elementor to see if the issue still occurs?
It's difficult to tell. With elementor off all the product pages are justified to the left. The variations box is still very long though. However, it does have an end - it isn't cut off.
I will contact Elementor now to see if they can throw any light on this.
I did just try it with WP 2020 theme and issue is still there - this suggests plugin conflict or Elementor, so will pursue this with them.
