[Support request] WooCommerce subcategories in sidebar

Hi guys – loving your work.

I have a little niggle with the WooCommerce Product Categories List in the right sidebar.

I’d like this to only show the sub categories, is that possible?

So on the top level shop page you see all categories in list in the sidebar, but when you go in to a category you only see the subcategories in the list.

I’m convinced there used to be a little tickbox saying ‘only show subcategories’ somewhere, but that’s gone now? Is there any way to replicate that finctionality?

Hi there,

it looks like Woocommerce dropped the Only show children of the current category on the Block Widgets`.
Simple fix would be to disable the block editor in widgets:

Then you get the good old options in the woo widgets, including the one you’re looking for.

That left a bit of CSS work to do, as I lost the ability to use your lovely right sidebar element, but I’ve sorted that out and it’s all looking good now.

Its annoying that they dropped this from the Woocommerce Blocks, as it kinda makes that block pretty useless.
