[Support request] WooCommerce Side Cart

Hello, made a little search in forum but didn’t find an answer.

What I’d like to do is this:

– User adds a product to the cart
– The cart opens as a slide on the right without making a redirect to the cart page
– This way it’s easy for the user to checkout or just close it and continue shopping

Can that be made both on desktop and mobile?
If not, is there a section where we can suggest new features to add in the next release?

The closest option we have is the Display add to cart panel on scroll option:

And maybe the minicart option in the menu:

The exact option you are looking for would require some extensive custom coding unfortunately.

I have seen it done with Elementor before.

This is an option we are considering but have not yet decided. It certainly won’t be in the next release though.

I know you can do it with many plugins, but I’d prefer not abusing them too much.

We haven’t added this feature, but you can add widgets to the Off-Canvas Panel, so if you have a SideCart widget available to you it can be added to the panel right now.
