Hi,
I’m having problems with the Generate Press theme and WooCommerce individual product pages.
The product images show when customizing/editing the theme… however to the end user/visitor to the website, all they get is blank images… though if you click where the image is supposed to be, then it will pop up… this issue applies to WooCommerce carousel images on the product page as well.
Using latest theme 3.0.3
Using latest GP Premium ver 1.12.3Regards,
David

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
I’m not seeing this issue in our WooCommerce templates:
https://gpsites.co/seller/product/happy-ninja-hoodie/
https://gpsites.co/decor/product/spring-kit/So let’s go through some debugging steps.
Can you disable all plugins except GP Premium and WooCommerce to see if the issue still happens?
If the issue still exists, can you activate a Twenty series WP theme to see if the issue exists there as well?

Ok, so i disabled Generate Press theme… issue still occurred.
I then installed and activated the WP 2021 default theme… issue still occurred.
Then I disabled the GP Premium plugin… issue resolved (well not with theme) but then the woocommerce product images were displaying.

StaffCustomer SupportHmm the sites I linked above are all using GP Premium as well so I can’t see how it would be the issue.
So the issue exists with GeneratePress theme and GP Premium + WooCommerce as the only activated plugins?
If that’s the case, then can you deactivate each module to determine which module is causing the conflict?

This is a production site… i had to restore the GP premium theme after disabling GP free and GP premium and then activating WP 2021 theme… which then woocommerce product pages then displayed images. As mentioned in private reply, I can email you screenshots of GP Premium issue vs. WP2021 theme working/showing woocommerce properly.
There should be an image on the left hand side… there is nothing…
When GP Theme + GP Premium Plugin is disabled, and default 2021 wordpress theme activated, then the image shows… just sent an email to you with screen shots.

I deactivated the WooCommerce module in the GP Premium settings… images all display, but it looks absolutely terrible and layout is broken.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Can you try keeping WooCommerce module on but try checking with lazyload disabled and see if the issue still occurs?
Let us know.

I’ve also individually disabled each single feature of GP premium 1 by one, checking/clearing cache on separate computers, re-activating 1 by 1, clearing cache, etc. Seems to be with the WooCommerce GP Premium feature that is having the issues.

Lazy load is disabled for both JetPack and Autoptimize… problem still remains.
Lazy load has never been enabled or used previously.

StaffCustomer SupportIt doesn’t look like it’s disabled as the image in question has loading=”lazy” attribute as shown here:

Just did some research… lazy loading is a default WordPress feature as from Version 5.4…
So how do i disable Lazy Loading if it is built into WordPress by default?
March 10, 2021 at 11:09 pm #1690641David Zielinski
just installed a plugin to disable the default lazy load built into wordpress 5.4+… so class no longer showing lazy load attribute… cleared cache again via WP Admin and also on 2 by separate browser workstations… issue still remains.

Thanks. Yes the attribute is gone now.
To clarify: This the WooCommerce module is still enabled?
If yes, I just checked your site again and the image is actually showing now as shown here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/o0uEz2ZZ
Can you try clearing your device’s browser cache or try to visit the site in incognito mode? Let us know.

Ok… so i’ve just removed Autoptimise and Async Javascript… images are now appearing… I can’t re-enable them otherwise problem still occurs.
Also when I individually disabled GP premium features… some of them came up as “depreciated” and will be removed… after doing so, my home page layout is all messed up…

Got the home page fixed up now… there’s still some other glitches that have occurred from switching from GP/GP Premium then over to WP 2021 then back to GP/GP Premium.. but at least for now, all content is displaying properly.
