[Resolved] Woocommerce Product Categories

Hi,
I looking for some way of displaying Woocommerce Product Categories with thumbnails on the home page, the way it does on the Woothemes Storefront theme: http://demo.woothemes.com/storefront/

I thought your excellent new WP Show Posts plugin might have been a good solution but that appears to only show posts/products within a category and not the categories themselves (correct me if I’m wrong).

I also looked at all the Woocommerce Shortcodes and there doesnt appear to be one that does this either. I suspect if I do some research there will be some kind of PHP snippet I could use in the template but I was hoping there may be an easier solution.

Any help appreciated.

Nevermind, this Woocommerce shortcode does work, just have to make sure you’ve assigned atleast one product to a category otherwise it wont dispaly anything:

[product_categories number=”4″ parent=”0″]
