Hello Generatepress Team,
Can you pls let us know how can we have images swatches for our product variations? by default woocommerce show it as dropdown but how can we make that show image? We know there are plugins available in the market but can we do it via generatepress or using some code which you have?
Also 1 more thing did your team enable generatepress quantity buttons on elementor single product page template? Some months back when in conversation with your team member David he told us that they will test and add it back in new update of generatepress, coz now it seems to be working fine while earlier it used to conflict. So, pls let us know.
Thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
you will need a plugin to add those swatches. Its not something the Theme can do, and we don’t have any code for that.
Quantity buttons on Elementor – no we have not made any changes to our scripts. Maybe Elementor finally got round to implementing them ?

Hey David,
OK, any plugin which your team recommends which wont cause issues with generatepress?
Regarding quantity buttons we are not yet sure as we are using our custom code, did elementor manage to add their own?

StaffCustomer SupportI can’t recommend a particular plugin, if you’re still building your single product templates with Elementor then you will probably want to make sure it works with that. The Theme itself doesn’t get in the way of Woo, so it shouldn’t conflict
did elementor manage to add their own?
I do not know. I have not used Elementor in a long time.

Hey David,
OK got it, as far as we know elementor has not added their own quantity buttons, what are the plans for generatepress to enable their option to add those buttons for elementor template?
Since you don’t use elementor what do you use to make things like elementor?
Is generatepress planning to add image swatches for variation products in woocommerce?

It’s currently under review. If we can implement a solution that is backward compatible so it don’t break sites running old versions of Elementor then we will implement a change.

The only visual builder i work with today is the Block Editor with GenerateBlocks.
For Woocommerce i user plugins or develop my own code for what i need.Is generatepress planning to add image swatches for variation products in woocommerce?
No, as in our opinion ( and that of most WP developers ) a Theme should not extend a plugins features.
