woo commerce menu order

Hi - For a woo commerce page I have set "default sorting - menu order" - does this mean in the same order as displayed on the "Products" page? That doesnt seem to be happening?

menu_order refers to the Products menu order which can be set in each Products > Advanced tab or by manually Sorting the products in the admin - see here for both:
