Which site have you implemented my code/Element on? Not sure which one to check for the issues.
March 14, 2020 at 1:45 am #1194407johnapsMarch 14, 2020 at 8:19 am #1194794TomLead DeveloperLead Developer1. Try removing the
hide-on-mobile
class from the Element.2. You can hide the button on larger screens like this:
@media (min-width: 1150px) { .woo-filter-toggle { display: none !important; } }
What would display in the sidebar if we hid the filters on a smaller screen? Would it just be empty?
3. Not sure why this would be happening. Can you change how that menu is triggered?
March 14, 2020 at 8:38 am #1194810johnaps3. Unfortunately right now i dont have a clue how to change how the menu is triggering… i ll look into it and come back to you
2. Hide the sidebar in smaller media maybe?
March 14, 2020 at 3:59 pm #1195032TomLead DeveloperLead Developer2. Try this:
@media (max-width: 1050px) { .content-area { float: none; width: 100%; left: 0; right: 0; } .sidebar { display: none; } }
March 16, 2020 at 3:42 am #1196135johnapsthat’s perfect tom its what i wanted!
only thing left is why it opens supefly menu…
I found this
in superfly menu settings for setting the menu on a element of the page…
I think this class is also used for the filters button so probably superfly is setting it to open sf menu also…
Is there a way to differentiate filters button css classes?
Or maybe do you have some other solution?If i dont ask to much i am always willing to give your wp credentials if that ll help you and speed up the process so i wont take more of your time.
March 16, 2020 at 8:24 am #1196512johnapsI have managed to remove sf menu from opening when clicking filter button, by changing the selection of css class in the superfly plugin.
But even now the filter button is opening an empty off canvas menu…
Do we need to set in the code you gave me
<span class=”slideout-toggle woo-filter-toggle hide-on-mobile”>FILTER</span>the href to something else maybe? that ll point to the filters?
1. i also made the filter button visible with some css in all media screens, as you suggested
March 16, 2020 at 8:57 am #1196532TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperDon’t you want the button to open our Off Canvas Menu? If not, you can just ditch the
slideout-toggle
class.March 16, 2020 at 9:22 am #1196556johnapsTom just now i configured it correctly, and i saw that i need to put the filters in off canvas also… now they appear correctly just how i want them…
Thank you very much for your help guiding me!
Couldnt do it without you!
God bless you and gp going from being #1 wp theme to number one platform for all websites :D!March 16, 2020 at 4:01 pm #1196812johnapsTom i transfered everything on the live site but i do have one last question…
https://sofianos-orthopedika.gr/%CE%BA%CE%B1%CF%84-%CE%BF%CE%AF%CE%BA%CE%BF%CE%BD-%CE%BD%CE%BF%CF%83%CE%B7%CE%BB%CE%B5%CE%AF%CE%B1/%CE%BD%CE%BF%CF%83%CE%BF%CE%BA%CE%BF%CE%BC%CE%B5%CE%B9%CE%B1%CE%BA%CE%AC-%CE%BA%CF%81%CE%B5%CE%B2%CE%AC%CF%84%CE%B9%CE%B1/%CE%BD%CE%BF%CF%83%CE%BF%CE%BA%CE%BF%CE%BC%CE%B5%CE%B9%CE%B1%CE%BA%CE%B1-%CE%BA%CF%81%CE%B5%CE%B2%CE%B1%CF%84%CE%B9%CE%B1/in the above url in the off canvas menu of the filters i am trying to set the width to 93vw but when i clost the menu it doesnt disappear completely…
I guess it needs some css trick to do that?
I even set left: -90vw but that didnt do it…March 16, 2020 at 4:05 pm #1196817TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperThere is a decent amount of CSS required when it comes to changing the width at this time: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/off-canvas-width/#post-920928
