Widget settings seem to have split as individual sub-sections

Hi, hope you are very well. I've encountered an odd situation with the 'Customize' dashboard, i.e. the "Block Settings" under the Widgets section in 'Customize' are now all laid out in the main (sidebar) menu of the page. Moreover, each time I click a section, it loads up a blank section. What should I do to revert the 'Customize' page to normal? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi there,

I'm not exactly sure I fully picture what you mean.

Can you provide a screen recording of what you see on your Customize page UI?

Note: A widget section/area is blank by default if you didn't add blocks to it. (with the exception of Right Sidebar, I think it has a search block by default. Everything else should be empty/blank.)

Hi Elvin,

Please check out the screenshot: https://snipboard.io/53Bd6C.jpg. Previously, none of the "Block Settings" were laid out such that they crowded the main menu.

Thanks for looking at this further.

I see.

You may be encountering this bug.

It's a WordPress core issue. It's quite new and the fix is still pending.

This is outside of the theme's control, unfortunately. For now, all we can do is wait and hope a fix is released soon.

Thanks, Elvin. I contacted them first and they directed me to GP. It seems like they weren't updated on the matter.

It's understandable. There's a lot to do for everyone w/ the latest update (5.8.x). It introduced so many issues all around the community. :)

No problem. :D
