Widget in a Header Element

Hello! Is there a way to add a widget - the search widget - inside of a header element? I was hoping to move some sidebar widgets over to a header element that shows above posts, since my blog is now one column, instead of two.

When you say header element, do you mean the page hero created with a header element?
If so, I would recommend using block element - page hero instead, so you can add the search block directly into the block element.
