Hola. El espacio entre los widgets es muy espaciado. He usado generate en otras webs y nunca me ha pasado.
He usado css para reducirlo con margin-topo pero al tener un widgets de cabecera se oculta. Que puedo hacer?

You should be able to change the padding in Customizer > Layout > Sidebars > Widget Padding.
No es ese el problema, el botón esta a 0. Más no se puede subir

That feature should give you 4 input values and looks like yours is set to 96px, 40px, 33px, 40px right now.Ahora como puedes ver esta a 0 y no sube más.

Ya he bajado el 96 a 0. El problema es que el primer widget queda muy arriba y la quiero bajar
