Widget Archive Doesn't Work

Hi there,

That's a WordPress core widget which the theme doesn't control.

Have you tried disabling all plugin to eliminate any conflicts?

I would assume the issue would occur when you use a twenty series WP theme as well so please test that.

Sorry for late response. A bit occupied in real world.. :-D

I have tried everything including disable all plugin, clearing cache, remove the widget and many other things. But it still doesn't work.

I understand that it is WP widget but perhaps, you can suggest me how to solve because it works well when I used the old theme.

are you using any SEO plugins? If so can you temporarily disable that to see if there is a conflict.

Yes, you are 100% correct that Yoast SEO is the problem. I switched it off and clean the cache, the widget works fine.

I am not sure where it is but check in the Yoast date archive settings and make sure they are enabled.

I solved it.

I no longer need seo tools, so I uninstall Yoast and the widget works well.

I prefer to write without thinking about seo in my mind.

You and Leo have been so helpful for me to find the cause.
