why sites are truly slow

Why HTML pages take so much time to load on my Sites. I added information on my sites in private sections.
Please check the first highlighted areas of the screenshot

Please note there are no plugins yet except as required by the site template

run a GT Metrix report on the site to get more information.
The main issues i see is:
1. The server is not using GZIP compression.
2. A slow initial server response time ( testing on GT Metrix UK Server its almost 1second )
Both issues are something you want to speak with your host about.
I do not think So.
I did a curl and I can see the server supports GZIP and it is doing its job.
Next, gtmetrix.com is the worst in the market. why not you check on tools.pindom.com or google page speed checker.
For proof please check private info.
Well it doesn't really matter which network testing tool you use - they all report the same issues. If you look at the Pingdom report that YOU provided you will see the missing GZIP issue:

The Theme has no control over how long it takes for the server to respond. This is a hosting issue you need to address.
Please note mod_deflate.so is enabled on my server too. For proof Sending you the screenshot on private section
As much we like to help wherever we can - we cannot provide support for server related issues. The problem is not theme related and we do not have the answers for this type of issue.
