why is wordpress no loading jquery.min.js?

In an older custom theme, pre GeneratePress - my page doesn't show any jquery.js loading... it's always jquery.min.js.
Do you guys know why wordpress is loading the full size, un-minified version, and if there is anything we can do to trim this down?

Can you link us to the site in question? and/or perhaps provide a screenshot of it loading/being requested?

Looks like a custom plugin I made called it. Is there a way to always call the minified version, or do you know why wordpress doesn't automatically minify their jquery include?
