Why is my logo stretching on Element

I'm trying to create a header element that will merge on specific posts, but it's stretching the logo. I would like the logo to be standard size, what am I doing wrong?

what is the width of the logo you have set in Customizer > Site Identity ?
Ah, it was set to 230px. What is the optimal setting? 100px? Or does it depend on the size of the logo file?
There is no optimal setting as you can set it to whatever best suits your design.
So adjust it to where it looks good and go :)
