Why different search box styling?

How do I get the #2 ya?

I noticed that when I install a fresh GP, I will get #2.
But when I migrate or restore, i will get #1.
Hi there,
#2 styles were adding to GP 3.0. These styles are applied on any new install.
For legacy sites that were created before 3.0, it maintains the OLD Styles / CSS - so as nothing breaks or changes. You can force a legacy site to use the new 3.0 styles by changing the Customizer > General > Structure to Flexbox.
