Why can't I put html code in my header text widget?

I am using GeneratePress and I have the premium add-ons. I have tried to put a text widget into my header. The widget prompt says I can add arbitrary HTML code. However, the HTML code for my banner never shows up when I publish. Cannot I not add my own HTML code?

The Text widget definitely allows HTML.
What does the code look like? Do you have a link to your site?
Here is the code I put in the header text widget (currently without Title filled in):
If I put in a Title, all I see is the Title text and it is not clickable.
I see my html code does not show up here as well.

Maybe I'm just copying the code wrong here:
"<a href='http://www.sfi4.com/4477853/REAL'><img src='http://www.sfimg.com/SFIBanners/banner314.gif' border='0'></a>"
I just discovered that my problem is related to the browser. I normally use Chrome. When I view my site with Firefox and IE, I see the banner correctly. I will be glad to troubleshoot this myself now, unless someone already has a chrome browser fix.

Problem solved. I had ad blocking extensions added to Chrome (so long ago, I had forgotten about it). I have not seen banners blocked before, but I was able to white list my site and all looks good now.

Ah, pesky Ad Blocker (it's awesome though).
Glad you got it fixed :)
