    For some reason when I make the Header image full size and add the padding of the image height so it shows correctly when resizing the page, there is a large amount of whitespace between the header image and the menu. can someone please let me know if the header is able to be full size without the whitespace? Here is the site:

    Try adding that image as the site logo instead of the header background image:

    I did that, but the logo only appears half way across the screen.

    I got it. The image had to be resized completely within Photoshop.

    Yup the image needs to be big enough to fill the header space.
