White on white - Gutenberg plugin

The Gutenberg plugin causes a white on white situation for me in which it is impossible to properly see and therefore type in the title, figure captions, and other input.
Disabling the plugin solves the problem but makes other features go away.
I'm wondering if anyone knows a solution.

Hi there,
What version of WordPress are you using?
The Gutenberg/block editor is the default editor in WordPress so you don't actually need that plugin to use the Gutenberg editor.
