Hi there,

you have a Header Element that is set to Merge Site Header, this includes the header elements padding, which is where the white space is coming from.

Edit that Header Element and change its Display Rules to just the Front Page, so it doesn't interfere with your new page.

Will that not change my main header home page?

No - David is asking you to change the display rule so that header will only apply to the home page.

New problem associated with this. Now I came to edit pages I get this message

This is unlikely the result of changing the display rules.
