where to download simple php?

You would use Code Snippet:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-php/#code-snippets

To install it, simply go to Plugins > Add New and search for Code Snippets.

FYI: Code Snippets has been temporarily removed from the WP Plugin Repository. Will return soon according to the author:

I have it in 1 of my other sites.

Ahh that's the old way and I think Tom has removed it.

Code Snippets offers the same features and more so it's the new suggested method :)
