Where to add mailchimp shortcode?

Where in single.php to add mailchimp shortcode so it is displayed at the bottom of each post? I took the code that worked in Avada and tried to add it to single.php but either it doesn't show at all or it shows some error?
In Hooks, it refuses to show the newsletter form.
