Where are the WooComm shop options

1. https://docs.generatepress.com/article/woocommerce-overview/#shop -- Article is wrong? My Customizer does NOT show these WooComm options. Where are they located?
2. I am having a major issue with my new GP theme + Beaver + WooComm. Assigning my shop page in WooComm either DELETES the page (!!) or removes Beaver Builder functionality (can no longer edit with BB).

1. Is the add-on activated?

2. The shop page is automatically generated by WooCommerce once a page is assigned to it (like the Blog page for posts). I'm not sure how you could edit that with BB so it might be worth checking with their support for that.
Yes it is activated. I remember seeing these options when I first installed the theme, now Customizer is back to only default? 4 options for WooComm
also tried disabling and reenabling WooComm in Appearance> GeneratePress, didn't help
The options under Customizer > WooCommerce are coming directly from WooCommerce plugin itself.
GP's WooCommerce options are in Customizer > Layout > WooCommerce.
