What is the best way for me to display 4 images side by side?

I would like to use small images side by side as icon / clickable links. Something like this:

I did once have the code for this but I lost it somewhere along the way :(
What is the best way to do this?

I would recommend using Tom's Lightweight Grid Columns plugin.

Just click your name beside the post and you can see "Topics Started" and "Replies Created" in there :)
