[Support request] Website Speed Optimization with Ezoic Ads

Hi, I can understand the frustration you guys went through with all the CLS related stuff. And I deeply admire everything you guys are doing. Your theme is simply awesome no doubt about it.

But we gotta earn, and for that we gotta show ads. Thats where Ezoic’s Leap comes in.

Now my website is hosted on Bigscoots. Recently shifted from WPX to see if I can see any improvements. I have been through everybody (support teams) regarding this but have failed to turn LCP to “GREEN”.

Now what I have done is make the H1 a little bigger so it shows as a LCP. But still it need improvement.

If you check out the PSI, in the treemap, you would see that js are loading before the everything.

I think if we could just do something to load the page first.. (i.e. the heading/text comes in first), we would fix this issue with LCP.

Please help me here. I would greatly appreciate it.

While looking at the treemap, I see the following getting loaded.

If sometimes the main page loads first, it makes lcp down to 1.8 seconds. Is there anything we can do here?

Nothing we can do about the way Ezoic works, those scripts are injected before the wp_head hook fires in the GP theme.

you can see the wp_head() hook in the GP header comes after the charset and profile meta/links.
Which means those scripts are being injected before the template even fires.

You need to speak to Ezoic about the code they are injecting.
