Website looks different on a mobile compared to desktop

Hi
I just want to say i am extremely new to this and I am currently going along learning slowly and trying to not have to create a topic as this forum is excellent.
as i am learning i have purchased the GP add-ons which are awesome by the way, the template is awesome and i just love it - from a non techy person it has really enhanced my understanding.
however, i have a problem i was hoping someone could help me with.
My website (luxor-lettings.com) on a desktop is great, but when i go on to my phone and try the "desktop" option the website does not look the same as the desktop.
the nav bar at the top just has "menu" and my left sidebar goes at the bottom.
All i am looking for (and dont know how easy this is) is for someone to help me make the website look exactly the same on the desktop and mobile.
any help you would be greatly appreciated
thanks
Craig

but from what i can see - very positive
will report outcome of the users to help keep this thread updated for future information
Nice site, Craig. I'm new to mobile design and really looking at what others are trying. On my view, I will have to scroll side to side to see your site. Is that true generally? Are your users preferring that?
You may have to scroll when you resize your browser, but you should see the whole site while using a mobile device :)
