    Hi there Tom!

I am a very happy user of GP and have found all my solutions via the support forum, and of course through you and your team’s lovely contributions. Much thanks on this.

Just one thing that I have cracked my head and can’t seem to figure out, it is about webpage viewing, which I think is related to Viewport?

If you look at this website for example, http://www.soccernet.com, when you zoom in, the webpage does not resize by itself, but it really literally just zoom to the specify corner that the zoom is aimed at.

But if you look at my website for example, http://www.jcassociates.com.sg, when I zoom, the webpage resizes.

How do I get the same effect as http://www.soccernet.com?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Jeremiah

That’s happening because your website is mobile responsive. As the viewport reduces, the media queries kick in and make the site more readable.

The other site isn’t mobile responsive, as you reduce the width of your browser, the site doesn’t adjust.

The way GP works is actually better for UX and for search engine ranking.

    Hi Tom!

    Right I see.

Having said that, if you to search for http://www.soccernet.com or, I found another example, facebook.com, I understand it is because of non mobile responsive hence their webpage does not resize. However, if you search this same 2 web on your mobile phone, you can see there is sorta like a mobile version.

Is there anyway that I can make my website non responsive and yet have a mobile theme. Just checking so I can explore this option.

    Thanks once again!

it looks like you’re using some sort of mobile specific website. So their server redirects users on smaller devices to this different design.

You could turn off the mobile responsive features in GP, but you would have to find some sort of WordPress mobile app plugin that takes over your site on mobile.

Let me know if you need help disabling the responsive options.
