Hello,
I’ve just installed generatepress 1.2.2 on wordpress 4.0 and receive the following errors:Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in /home/xxxxx/public_html/mysite.com/wp/wp-content/themes/generatepress/inc/sanitize.php on line 75
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /home/xxxxx/public_html/mysite.com/wp/wp-content/themes/generatepress/inc/sanitize.php on line 77
I’m not knowledgeable enough about php to make a correction.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Berry,
Thanks for reporting these warnings.
What page are you on when you see this error?
Can you confirm that it’s still there?
Thanks!

I’ve just installed wordpress 4.0 and installed the generatepress theme.
In admin, I select “appearance” -> customize and the errors appear at the top of the page.
The errors are not on the regular site page. Of course I haven’t done anything to it yet 😉

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperAnd when you refresh, the warnings stay there?
What’s happening is the list of Google Fonts needs to be put into the database, and then is checked.
This warning would happen if the list of GF haven’t been put into the database yet.
Let me know 🙂

When the “appearance” -> customize page begins to load there is an error regarding fonts which is quickly overlaid by the warning I posted above. Try as I may, I’m unable to obtain the content of the fonts error message.
I also installed this theme on a working site utilizing wordpress 3.9 and obtain the same result.
My simplish theme works fine but I receive font errors on loading (which I can’t obtain) and then the errors I posted above.
Back to simplish for now.
Thanks

Regarding the post above – I receive the font errors after selecting the generatepress theme, not with simplex.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperInteresting – can you email me your URL, username and password to support@generatepress.com so I can take a look? You can set up a quick temporary admin user if you’d like.
Let me know 🙂

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperBerry wasn’t specific, but it most likely has to do with the connection between your database and WordPress site. The list of fonts are populated into a transient in your database, and then output in the select boxes – the error above would only happen if nothing was added to the database in the first place.
If you’d like, you can email me a temp admin user and pass to support@generatepress.com, and I can see if I can find out more for you.
Thanks!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperJust a note on this.
While it was only happening on select servers, I found a fix that will stop this from happening anymore.
It will be included in the next version of GP, Typography and Premium.
Thanks!
