if it better I´d like to know how can I install the Raleway font that I´ve got dowloaded in ttf format.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

the fonts listed in GeneratePress are all Google Fonts and are served from the GoogleAPI.
This article explains how to install you’re own local fonts:

Local fonts can improve performance as they remove the additional DNS lookup that a google font would require. But that doesn’t always translate into a faster loading site, depending on your server.

Whether you use the Local or Google Font best thing to do is minimize the varients you use, this document explains:

For finishing, if I use local fonts, must I upload all the types, I mean, TTF, Woff, etc?

just WOFF will do – it is supported by all major browsers ( except Opera Mini – which does its own thing ).

WOFF2 has better compression but then you’ll need to include TTF or a fallback for Internet Explorer.
