[Support request] Want to remove CPT url

I have created a Custom post type Named Tools in the URL https://wordpress-914886-3175585.cloudwaysapps.com/tools I can see this is archive post. i don’t want any products inside the URL. I want to show 404 error on the url

Not sure if I fully understand the question but this wouldn’t be handled by the theme.

Sounds like you need to tweak the WordPress permalink settings:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/settings-permalinks-screen/
